Halo 3 is in its final development stages, and people are preparing the way for its entree this fall. But in the mean time, Halo 3: The Ride should provide some entertainment. Although not much has been revealed on it, it's going to be a big attraction at the Leipzig Games Convention. It's purpose, to promote Halo 3, and give people a chance to ride with Master Chief.

We haven't gone hands-on with Halo 3: The Ride yet—it's still in private beta—but our estimation of development progress indicates we'll be testing the single and multiplayer portions within a day or two. If the artwork we've seen on the partially constructed version of Halo 3: The Ride shares any art assets with the game its promoting at the Leipzig Games Convention, you'll be taking Master Chief and pals through a fantastic German castle and rescuing a mysterious "Sparkle Princess." If I'm right, I think we've got a huge scoop on our hands here.

Actually, now that I got a better look the picture, it looks like the Xbox 360 logo is suppose to appear on the side.

Still don't see how that's a Halo ride, though.

Wait, what? So it's a ferris wheel, but then it says you go into a castle? Nice eye TurMoiL911. That'd be pretty cool if some like it spins so fast a logo appears. Still, something more unique than a ferris wheel or something should be done for Halo 3.

I never said it has to be a ferris wheel.
