Want to know where to spend your software savings between now and the dawn of 2008? Unsure about the strength and depth of the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and PlayStation 3? Why not take a look at GamerSquad's appraisal of all the best platform titles coming your way between now and the holiday season... bring your debating skills too.
The videogame industrys annual summer drought is finally coming to an end (Editor Stevie has been dreading his weekly New Releases post for months), and the collective sighs of relieved retailers is now audibly mixing with the breathy anticipation of developers gearing up to unleash their wares upon the expectant masses.
In celebration of 2007s richest gaming months still being ahead of us, this lowly writer discusses which of the big three home consoles (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii) has the best to offer eager gamers between now and the dawn of 2008.
Oh, and just for the record, cross-platform releases and time-delayed exclusives have been discounted in favour of concentrating on titles that are permanently restricted to one console or another.

Gimme a break. This is NOT NEWS. It's someone's opinion.
The Wii has the best Holiday lineup, with MP3: Corruption ending the summer drought, and Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros Brawl releasing weeks apart. In between these 'big three' games, the Wii will also see RE: Umbrella Chronicles, Battalion Wars 2, No More Heroes, RRR2, and Zack & Wiki releasing.
The 360 has the second best lineup, with Halo 3, Mass Effect, and PGR4 releasing in Sept, Oct, and Nov.
Then comes the PS3, which has Ratchet & Clank and Heavenly Sword releasing in the Fall. The article fails to mention Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, which I'm looking forward to more then R&C and Heavenly Sword combined.
The 360 also has a great lineup. Halo 3 is a huge game, and although I'm not a big Halo fan, I'm sure I'll still find the online multiplayer great. Mass Effect looks interesting, too. However, I'm really eying Eternal Sonata. I've been rather RPG-deprived lately and Famitsu loved it (getting 3 9/10 ratings and an 8/10 is quite impressive). Nice to see the 360 getting some RPGs, too. The Xbox was lacking in that field.
I love Ratchet and Clank, and I'm in love with Tools of Destruction. Heavenly Sword looks somewhat interesting. It's a shame MGS4 was delayed, however. It does have some great multiplatform titles coming out this holiday, too. This list is dealing strictly with exclusives, however.
Uh, revenger of wastelan, I understand if the line-up doesn't interest you and all, but there is only one Mario game
PS3 wins this one for me.
PS3 does win for me.
nothing thats what!
I'm not saying the Wii lineup is bad at all. I'm looking forward to the likes of SSBB, SMG and MP3C myself. I'm just saying that you can't really say any one lineup is actually best because it depends greatly on what appeals to you.
And I know what your saying Insanity, but I'm saying that the only games coming out aren't just MP3, Galaxy and Brawl. Two of the three Sony/Xbox fans who posted here thought all that was coming out was Mario gamers, and the only thing the Wii couldn't satisfy to the third was a good sports game.
