GameStop got itself in hot water this month over its handling of the release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, removing coupons from the PC version of the game that entitled buyers to a free copy of the game on OnLive. GameStop apologized to gamers over the snafu last week.

      they are competing against them with their Impulse service, and Steam also. what would they give back to OnLive anyway?

      also the way i see it, ive seen OnLive offering so many "free game" and "get a free micro console with pre order of game XYZ" so often that it makes me think they must be hurting for subscribers if they need to give this much incentive to use their service. i tried them out back when Homefront came out and their service sucked balls.
