It may be a positive sign for the industry that a developer that got so thoroughly lambasted for the way it treated its employees is now in such trouble, but one has to feel for fans of LA Noire or Team Bondi's facial performance technology now. Will we ever see them come into their own in future iterations?

After accusations of unfair payment practices, never-ending mandatory overtime and deliberately excluding swathes of developers from LA Noire's game credits, developer Team Bondi seems to be reaping what it sowed. Whether or not any of these problems actually caused the company's current dire financial situation may never be known, but this we do know: Team Bondi has gone into administration. If you enjoyed the team's previous work, you may be waiting a long time for another example of it.
