DICE addresses fan's concerns of beta being too close to release date. Alan Kertz assures fans that feedback will be implemented into final version of the game.

In this article, we mentioned that there are two types of betas; ones that are used mainly as a promotional tool for developers, and ones that are actually used to test the game in it’s current state and purposed to acquire feedback from gamers for developers to work with before the final release date." - MP1st

    To be fair they can do it in time. If they are using the beta mainly for balancing then a month is easily enough time for a hardworking company to make changes. Lets be fair, they've been doing internal testing for quite some time I dare say on this game.
