I would expand on that deathstreak-less playlist and create separate "competitive" counterparts to all the gametypes where things like perks and kill/deathstreaks aren't featured. Just you, your team, and your weapons.

Honestly, I don't get the problem people have with Deathstreaks.

It's somehow a big problem for players who aren't good to get a small boost, but when players who are already good have much more powerful advantages available to them it's perfectly fine?

That really doesn't make any sense.

It's like people are saying, "When a team's doing well, they should get even further help in raping the shit out of the opposition. Don't give a losing team a chance to come back at all because that's somehow not fair!"

Besides, I very, very rarely ran into deathstreaks in MW2 anyway. Literally, out of 200+ hours of gameplay, I only remember running into Painkiller 10< times and I only had to use it myself 5< times, and Painkiller was the only truly threatening death streak in the game in my opinion.

Everyone was new at some point. When I first started playing Call of Duty there were guys that would beast all over me, they would make me wish I never bought the game as it wasn't fun. Where were the Deathstreaks for me? Experienced players have an issue with it given that the game is not hard and there was no help for them when they started.. Everyone gets better eventually and deathstreaks merely rewards players for being shit.

If the game isn't hard (and it isn't), then this whole topic is a non-issue because not only will players rarely come across death-streaks, but those who actually destroy people so badly that they're forced to use deathstreaks should be able to overcome them when they pop up.

Even if they can't, who cares? I don't think I've ever seen a team lose because someone got a deathstreak. I think it's an extremely minute thing to complain about, and because of that, I really don't care if they leave or stay. I'm just saying I don't get the whole massive uproar people are bringing to the topic as if it's some gamebreaking feature.

"Oh, *bleep*! I only got 8 kills in a row because someone got to use Martyrdom and I'm not smart enough to get away! This is bullshit."

Come on now... If people are so good at the game, they should be able to learn such a simple task as running away from a grenade, or putting one bullet in a painkiller user and taking cover when the painkiller marker comes up. Even if they don't, I think that's just too bad for them.

Like I said, you might as well complain over killstreaks, IMO.
