Native resolution revealed for Battlefield 3 on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360

EA DICE’s Johan Andersson has revealed the native resolution for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the upcoming first-person shooter, Battlefield 3.

    I remember a time when Sony stated that the Playstation 3 was the only home console capable of true 1080p gaming. As time has progressed not only has that statement gotten more ridiculous it's also gotten further and further from the truth.. We started this generation with games that played in HD we are closing it with games that don't even run in HD, that's advancement right there..

      shooters have to run at 60fps or as close as possible which is often hard to do in 1080p.
