Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core will make you cry (plus hints of a FFVII Remake)

The newest issue of Dengeki PS2 has released brand new Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core screenshots, including images of Cloud Strife visiting Icicle Inn (a location made famous in the original Final Fantasy VII).

But the fans' focus wasn't on these new screenshots...
An interesting interview with Square Enix staff members, Nomura and Tabata, revealed many new secrets about the soon-to-be-released game. With such an emotionally charged theme, they expect Final Fantasy fans to be in tears at the completion of Crisis Core...

From the interview:

The Potion Concept is "Sephiroth Flavor"
Supposedly it’s more delicious than the last one.
"We ordered a fresh citrus flavor. Soon after we announced a second edition we wanted a completely different flavor, and I was really surprised by the result." (Nomura)

"The greatest secret of the DMW will be revealed in the last battle"
(Nomura)
"We'll know the true meaning of the DMW's existence".

"We feel that the DMW as a system that is connected to deep emotions has an element of sadness to it.
Regarding the beta testers, we were were told that they: "Cried during the test play." (Tabata)

"However, the ending isn't necessarily gloomy.
There is significance in Zack's life and existence, in the end you feel that there is a hope that is passed on into the time of FF7"

I feel that CC was loaded with the message of "Make a remake, Nomura-san and Kitase-san." (Tabata)

"The Ending is absolutely worth seeing".

I gues I only shed a tear on FFX, so it will be a change to shead a tear onto something else. I dont really care what they say about this title. I will be getting it.

The hell is the deal with so many mentions of crying? The beta testers cried? LOL What pansies do they have playing this game? I never cried during a videogame, man thats funny. I wish they would just put this game out already. I'm starting to think Square is doing too much at once, because every single title has been delayed multiple times within the last year or so.

  Your mean, many people cry on FF games, i know i did a few times in FF7. Just cause you didn't, doesn't mean no one else has. I like how there doing too much, it shows they want to make us great titles.

I don't know why they don't just already release an official statement saying "yes, we are remaking FFVII" Why do they have to go through all this. Sure, it builds up hype but a FFVII remake doesn't need hype. It already comes with hype when you just mention "FFVII remake".

If and when they do release the FFVII remake for the PS3 that'll seal the deal for me in picking up a PS3 no matter the price be it $600 or $300.

Bandito...shutup. Movies make people cry, you know...songs make people cry. I'm not saying I've ever cried to one, but hey, some people are emotional like that. Being connected to the story or characters...anything can cause it.

I'm sure SquareEnix understands how HUGE an FFVII remake will be...how much profit they'd get. That's probably a last resort in case they are on the verge of bankruptcy

There's a lot of hype about every FF7-related game so I'm worried in a way, but I'm sure Square will reward us with a classic game

I'm hoping this game will have me bawling my eyes out.

Games have made me emotional before, but I want to play something that will REALLY make me cry.
