Announced at Nintendo's 3DS News Conference, Monster Hunter 4 was confirmed straight after Monster Hunter 3G. It was not told if it will be an exclusive title on the 3DS or will be released on other platforms.

The Nintendo 3DS is getting a port of Monster Hunter Tri, titled Monster Hunter 3G, later this year. That's big news. But Capcom is planning more for Nintendo's portable. It's bringing Monster Hunter 4, the next major installment for the franchise, to the system.
