Crytek deep into PS3 development. Also developing for Wii.

Crytek has revealed they are working on all three consoles at the moment. They stated that they are delving very deep into the PS3 and doing top secret things for the PS3.

They have also revealed that they are working on technologies for the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii, and that they are truly optimizing games for each system's hardware.

"Nintendo Wii is certainly on the radar, we will do something for Nintendo Wii - the question is when. I think some time maybe in three or four years, but nobody knows when."

Yerli's comments came during our visit to Crytek's Frankfurt studio, where he also revealed that there is a team dedicated to research and development for PlayStation 3.

"Our PS3 development is going deeper than many people assume right now," Yerli said.

"The PS3 room is separate because we have some secret technologies being developed there which are not related to CryEngine 2."

    Sounds good...I just hope it is as good, as they make it sound...

    Sony should work on an exclusivity deal with Crytek, PS3 and PC only.

    That would be pretty sick since this is a very talented developer that has kind of paved the way for First Person Shooters in the past couple years.

    Please note that the Far Cry's on the console were not developed by Crytek.

      The Wii version especially sucked. Seriously, how do you *bleep* up a game THAT badly?

    Lol the guy has a funny looking hand/arm in Far Cry Wii. That game was just as bad as Red Steel. :/

      No it means there is a game coming to PS3 that will probably be running on CryEngine2.

          Nothing stopping it from being Crysis but Crytek has been so forceful in the past in stating anything they make on a console will not be Crysis.

      If you bothered reading the article you would see that,
