Crytek and THQ have announced a partnership to create the next Homefront game. Cyrtek Nottingham, UK will develop the shooter set to release in fiscal year 2014.

In March, THQ released the alternate-future shooter Homefront to good sales and mixed reviews. Months later, the publisher closed down the game’s developer Kaos Studios and the future of the Homefront franchise was left uncertain. THQ has just announced a partnership with Crytek that makes that future seem a little more clear.

      Yes, only because its plot was actually interesting.

      Re-read that line. PLOT WAS INTERESTING, for an FPS with chronic call of duty syndromes that was no small accomplishment.

    I really enjoyed the first one and I'm glad a sequel is dcoming out. I'll deffinitely be getting it.
