Warhawk pushed back! (Only slightly)

According to an article at Three Speech, everyone waiting to get their grubby little mits on Warhawk is going to have to wait another few days. The original release on the PSN for download was August 28th. Now it's been pushed back until August 30th.

Not a bad deal if you ask me, considering you'll still get it almost a month before it's on the shelves thanks to the Playstation Network.

PlayStation have just issued the following announcement

“We have just received information that the next PS Store update, which will contain Warhawk, will be Thursday 30th August and not Tuesday 28th August as previously announced. As you know Thursday is the usual day for our PS Store refresh. We are sorry for any inconvenience that the extra 48 hours wait may cause.”

    I totally forgot this was coming out this month. I also have to pick up Blue Dragon and Metroid Prime 3 ><

    At least I can download this one from my house.

    So the blu-ray version of the game still coming out on tuesday and the download is coming out on the Thursday

    Well that does make sense...Seeing as all PS store updates happen on Thursdays

      Actually, apparently the PSN release is a full month or so, before the physical (store, Blu Ray) release...

      That makes sense, software distribution, requires no hard copies to be shipped, or anything)

    Wait...I thought they were both coming out at the same time as well...Tall, can we get a link to where you got that information

    edit: If you read the article...at the bottom it says the release date of the blu-ray version is tuesday-wednesday

      No crap, The blu-ray version comes out Tuesday and the download comes out thursday...hence the article
