Well of course it's not as big of a jump. The last jump they made was across to a completely new console. As much as we'd all love them to, not every sequel has to be a new revolution of itself. It just simply has to improve on itself well enough to make it necessary.

IMO from Morrowind to Oblivion wasn't really all that big of a jump. Of course that really wasn't a big deal for me as I loved Morrowind but aside from the game world being less flat and the graphics obviously being improved it didn't really feel all that different.

It's probably been 3+ years since I've played Oblivion, and much longer since I last played Morrowind, but I remember thinking that Oblivion actually took a few steps backwards in several aspects.

I really can't remember why I thought that, though...

Anyway, from what I've seen so far, it's definitely enough of a step above Oblivion to make me happy. I don't see how this game can let me down... <--- Famous Last Words...?
