Dark Souls Look to Snare New Victims With Latest Trailer

Dark Souls is From Software's spiritual successor to the punishing action-RPG Demon Souls. The fantasy game being published by Namco Bandai, has received a new trailer just in time to lure players into the sadistic world when the game releases October 4th for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Are you a gaming masochist? Do you enjoy getting killed several dozen times in the course of a few minutes? Well then you must have enjoyed From Software’s punishing but rewarding fantasy action-RPG Demon Souls, and you must be super stoked about next week’s upcoming launch of the spiritual successor, Dark Souls on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. To get you even more excited Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for the game.

    This trailer backed up my suspicions that I am indeed a glutton for punishment. I saw all those bosses and thought to myself "you know what that looks mighty fun" I know for a fact I'm gonna die a good 2000 times by the end of it all but I don't care.

    as a gamer who gets really frustrated when i die in games, i wont be playing this or the first game. they look like good games otherwise, but i would probably throw the controller across the room after not long and i'd rather not.
