BioShock won the Best of GC in the Xbox 360 category at Leipzig this year. With a score of 97 on Metacritic, the game is likely to win more awards by the year's end.

The Leipziger Messe has named this year's winners of Best of GC, the fifth time the distinction has been awarded. And the winner in the Xbox 360 division is really no surprise at all.

There's simply no stopping BioShock.

"Underwater survival in a sunken Art Deco city, countering crazy inhabitants, and constantly faced with the dilemma of what is right and what is wrong: BioShock is the most intelligent, most bizarre shooter for years," cheered the jury.

The game has a mindblowing score of 97 on Metacritic, and is destined to take home a lot more awards before the year is through.
