Hideo Kojima recently provided a small update regarding the development progress of the upcoming Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 compilation, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

        Everytime I see news on the HD Collection I'm thinking "that's nice and all, but all we actually *bleep*ing wanted was trophies!"

    Why do people still give a shit about trophies for MGS4? I don't give the slightest damn that it will never get trophies.


    Hell even if this didn't have trophies I wouldn't care.Of course MGS is my favourite game franchise of all time.

      Honestly, I just think it would be nice to have them. It's not a big deal for me.

      It would give me more of a reason to go back and play MGS4, not that the game needs much more reason to play it.

      Although, after my PS3 broke during my 16th play-through, I haven't really felt any desire to play it much again...I lost everything.

          Haha, thanks.

          It's not so bad. I hadn't actually finished a perfect BBE run yet, so at least I didn't lose that. I was however about halfway through Act 3 on a perfect BBE run.

          So, I lost that, a bunch of guns, camos, Stealth Camo, Bandana...damn, now I'm sad again.

    the MGS games are not a series i need to have achievements/trophies to want to play. whenever i get a PS3 again, MGS4 is gonna be one of the first things i play.
