IGN has come around to review the Playstation 3 game, Warhawk. They give it a great score of 8.8 out of 10. They review it for 3 long pages, coming to conclusion that that the graphics, presentation, sound and lasting appeal are near perfect and the gameplay is fantastic, scoring well above average, but the game requires you to take a big learning step as there is no tutorial. Go to the source for the full review.

When Warhawk was announced two years ago, the game featured a significant focus upon a single player storyline that cast a large spotlight on the Sixaxis controller and what it could potentially do for games.

Beat me to it, lol. That's an extremely positive score from IGN, and just makes me every more excited about its imminent arrival in the UK tomorrow.

    Can't wait.

I don't why everyone says there's a big learning step, can't you just play splitscreen until you've learned the basics?

Not really, if you're by yourself you gotta learn everything the hard way. Though even if you're getting your ass kicked, you'll have fun in this game. I already pre-ordered the Blu ray version with the 2-day delivery (DAMN YOU, GAMESTOP AND YOUR DELIVERY SYSTEM!), so it should be coming tomorrow.

Cool, it was hard to discern from videos whether this game just looked fun or was fun - but if the gameplay get's a thumbs up I'll definitely pick this up when I get my PS3.

the game is not that difficult to play, what you can do is start your own game and just launch is b4 anyone else joins and then you can mess around. But i dont agree with the 8.8, i really feel it should be a 9.5 i love this game. I think online only was the best thing to do. the game is sick! either onfoot in the jeep the tank or in the warhawk you will be hooked.
