Battlefield 3 has officially sold 5 million copies. Not only does this make it EA's fastest selling game ever, but it could also potentially mean even bigger things. Can Modern Warfare 3 do anything to slow its main competitor down?

If you haven’t left your house in the last week, it’s probably because you’re one of the 5 million people that have been playing Battlefield 3. Yeah, that’s right, I said 5 million. In a press release yesterday, the company announced that Battlefield 3 is the “fastest selling game in EA’s history.” Considering that the company has been around for over 20 years, that’s certainly saying a lot.

    I guarantee you MW3 will easily outsell that number. People eat MW up without a second thought nowadays.

    Now all EA have to do is put that money to good use and sort out their damn game. Don't get me wrong, I love it and have been playing it a lot since the day of release, but damn has that game bugs.
