Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

League of Legends has been lighting up the online scene recently with its addicting and competitive game-play. As of the week of November 14, League of Legends has officially reached 32 million players. No other free-to-play online game has even come close to these numbers, and truly, the game is in a league of its own.
Every now and then you’ll hear that PC gaming is dying. Well with the statistics that Riot Games just released this week regarding their free-to-play, multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA for short), League of Legends, I’d say that statement is pretty much moot. For those who haven’t been following the MOBA/MMORPG scene, League of Legends is a game that really caters to competitive fantasy players. Most online RPGs typically don’t do player vs. player (PvP) combat very well (yes I’m looking at you World of Warcraft), but League of Legends is the first to prioritize the concept and do it well. It’s the primary reason that over 30 million people have joined the craze.
