This is the official trailer for the upcoming Mafia 2 which will be released for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. Not many details about the characters and the plot have been given at this point.

Here is the first official trailer for Mafia 2 which will released for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Currently, there hasn’t been a release date announced for Mafia 2.

To do well, Mafia 2 will have to be an exceptional game to distinguish itself from other lackluster mafia-themed games (The Godfather, The Sopranos, etc). Details about the plot of Mafia 2 have not been given, but I wonder if Mafia 2 will be largely plot driven, or if it will follow in the footsteps of the other mobster games which featured derivative elements of the Grand Theft Auto series.

Mafia 2 is being published by Take-Two Interactive (Railroad Tycoon 2, Max Payne, Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer) and developed by Illusion Softworks (Mafia, Vietcong: Purple Haze).
