Nintendo hasn't forgotten about the "3DS Ambassadors", who were promised 20 free Virtual Console games through the 3DS eShop by the end of 2011. The first batch - 10 NES titles - rolled out in September, but the Big N insists that the 10 Game Boy Advance games are still coming sometime this month. Five titles have been confirmed, but what are the remaining ones? More details and speculation in the full article on GameRabies.

For how much they spoke about how great it's selling, they do seem to be taking some desperate measures to get people to buy, don't they?

makes no sense....if you buy now you won't get these games.

Its for people that bought it before the price drop

Oh, it's still about that, huh? Taking them long enough to come out with the games, isn't it? Seems like a waste of time and largely like they're trying to keep people from selling back the systems.

Yeah they are really pulling out all the stops to sell this system. I mean I bought one just for Oot:3D. But if that game was not on there then I wouldn't have bought this.

Super Mario 3D Land. Mario Kart 7. 2012 is bringing us Kid Icarus, Luigi's Mansion, Paper Mario, Mario Tennis, and more. The 3DS is already off to a better start than the DS, and if anyone's still having doubts about it at this point, it's silly. This thing rocks, the summer started slow but it's not lacking in software by any means at this point.

A lot of people have doubts because you actually don't see many 3DS systems out there, and software hasn't been impressive at all thus far.

Same with the original DS. Other than two screens and touch, there it was't that impressive either.

But I blame app gaming for the poor results this generation.
