Eidos to Enter Preliminary Buyout Talks

We got a little scoop from our friends at FiringSquad that Eidos may be looking for suitors to purchase it. There are some rumored buyers involved, but one of them will be sure to leave a bad taste in the mouths of some gamers.

If it is EA, you can expect Kane & Lynch 2 to be slightly worse than Kane & Lynch, and Kane & Lynch 3 will totally blow chunks. Much in the same way that Burnout, Battlefield, SimCity, Command & Conquer, and various and sundry titles were all run straight into the ground by EA buyouts.

    NOT EA....EA, STAY THE HELL AWAY!

    Mind you, I'm not all that familiar with Eidos titles, but I know that EA sucks (for the most part)...

    Maybe being bought by EA will be enough for an FF7 remake to finally get pumped out? Even if it sucks, everyone will still buy it. Sounds just like EA.
