OXCGN's Nicholas Laborde discovers that the previously thought to be cancelled S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is in fact still alive and GSC is also still continuing with the game. It was previously thought the developer was another victim of the growing studio closures.

A few weeks ago, an extremely unexpected and radically depressing statement flew across the internet like wildfire: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. developer GSC Game World announced that they were closing, and that the official second game in the series would be canceled.

After teasing us for weeks on end, those crazy guys and gals over at GSC have given us an early Christmas present.
