Gaming Target reports that Xbox Live Arcade exclusive downloads are outpacing PlayStation Network downloads at of 3.75:1. The site gives a comprehensive list of original (not reissued classic) games for both systems and a visual graph of how their retail and download release totals.

As is to be expected, the Xbox Live Arcade has many more exclusive titles than the PlayStation Network. More than three times as many actually. And almost half of them have a green Metascore of 75 or over. The same can be said for only three of the PSN’s eleven releases.

How can they compare yet? That obviously has something to do with there being so many more 360 than PS3 units sold and the longer lifespan of XBLA compared to PSN.

There you go. PSN is still relatively new, they can't be validly compared yet.

Well no shit, GamingTarget...it really took a Rocket scientist to figure that out, didn't it? Given a headstart of exclusive downloadable content because there was no other console online community, ALRIGHTY!!

Yet they don't, the 360 was just as slow but now almost 2 years later you are finally noticing slow and steady builds up... Sony are doing the same, people are just too *bleep*ing stupid to factor a headstart.
