Blizzard Confirms Diablo III Console Version Through Twitter

There's been a lot of speculation about it, and even word that Blizzard had established a team to 'look into' a console version of Diablo III, but now fans have gotten confirmation that it will in fact be happening.

    to be fair they did not confirm they are making console ones. they only confirmed what we already knew they have staff that is looking into it. a side from there staff. that is not new.

    Blizzard has never ported one of their PC games to console without it sucking hard. granted theyve only really tried once, but still. they wont do it unless they know for sure that D3 can translate well to console, and i dont think it can unless they dumb it down a ton. they might as well make a stand alone dungeon crawling game which is more simplistic and designed for drop-in drop-out multiplayer, and release on XBLA and PSN download.
