Mario Kart on the Wii to Support 16 Player Multiplayer

The new issue of Nintendo Magazine will have a feature on the new features going into Mario Kart for the Wii. One feature that will draw a lot of attention is the 16 player online multiplayer support.

One of the biggest titles coming up for the Wii is Mario Kart. And now, I think the hype meter is going to shoot up about another ten notches as 16 player multiplayer races were confirmed in the upcoming edition of the Official Nintendo Magazine.

    Friend code meltdown! But yeah, I see the hesitation over the online crowd Mario Kart is bound to attract. Guess the dedicated will have to whether the storm (or signal-to-noise ratio). Was there going to be any label customization options like in the DS game?
