NoobFeed.com notices the little byline underneath every demo released today on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. It seems people that want a taste for free will not get to try before they buy as much as they want. Nintendo is keeping tabs on how many times the demo is launched and supply is limited.

Didn't even notice it when I first launched the demo. Seems kind of silly they would do such a thing but I'm sure 30 is enough for me.

I can't for the moment see a demo that would require more than 30 tries, luckily as well. Perhaps things like racing games etc that revolve around just a few tracks that you just try out some time maybe.

True. I really doubt I'll make it to ten for Resident Evil. But it just seems silly to have the limit if they do something special in the future for a demo.

Yeah, I don't really get the limit thing either. As has been said, I doubt anyone will ever run out of tries, but I don't really see how limiting something like this makes sense.

The only thing I can think off is that Nintendo is afraid people will just play free demos instead of buying actual games, but that is incredibly far-fetched.

Doesn't make any sense to me. Although the idea of people just playing the demo and not shelling out for the game is valid, I think if that's the case then they have a serious paranoia issue. Demos are short and to the point, so for me there's no room for something as strange as a play limit. I'm sure anyone who enjoys a game will want to buy the full experience rather than feed off a tiny glimpse of it.

It's not a big deal but meh, I think it's silly of them.
