Yes, Super Smash Bros Brawl's game director Masahiro Sakurai revealed a new stage called "Pokemon Stadium 2"

The sequel of Pokemon Stadium on Super Smash Bros Melee.

This stage, like others will have some effects towards it.

The stage will change to four formations: Electric, Ground, Flying and Ice. All having different effects in gameplay.

There will also be some Pokemon that will be on the stage depending on its form (ice, ground, electric or flying)

The previous game, Super Smash Bros. Melee, featured Pokémon Stadium, but it’s been upgraded for this game into Pokémon Stadium 2.

This time around, you’ll see guest Pokémon appearing in the background.

But as time passes, the terrain transforms into four different types:
"Electric," "Ground," "Flying," and "Ice."

For these four transformations, we’ve chosen types that were not present in Melee.

Terrain that changes suddenly makes fights excitingly unpredictable.

Another great stafe to look forward too. The ice one will get annoying if it's slippery.

The ice one adds to the stage quite well, imo. It can give you an advantage, ya never know, heh. Wow, even a motive for floating like the flying-type Pokemon, heh.

Oh I want to see the electric one. There are so many little things like that that the site leaves out so you have to wiat for the game itself to see, like the underground part of castle siege

Actually, there could be a another update for these stages.

Since a character's special moves can take months (after the character is confirmed) you could see a update on it again.

Also, I want to see the electric one too. I could imagine anything on that stage. (P.S: I hope Raichu is in the electric stage)

Out of them all shown, the flying one seems to have potential.

This is gonna be a fun way to tick off my opponents.. In Melee, the Stadium was good enough for using the terrain to hide from opponents attacks but be in a perfect position to launch your own. This really is an upgraded version. On the Ice and Flyng terrains I'm gonna be doing alot of jumping, especially on Ice, to keep on my toes, instead of slippin'.

Nice to finally learn some more about the stage. It's been in the screenshots for AGES.

This and Meta Knight get my official "About Damn Time" award.
