Masahiro Sakurai revealed today on his Twitter today that Kid Icarus: Uprising has officially gone gold. The game is due out March 23rd, 2012 in North America.

Sakurai thanked all those that were involved in the game’s development and also joked that maybe he’d finally be able to rest up on Saturday and Sunday.
