Today Activision has released a complete schedule for the next nine months of Modern Warfare 3 "content drops" for Call of Duty Elite premium subscribers. In total there will be 20 piece of DLC made available to premium Elite subscribers, all of which will be spread out over the course of 2012.
The first set of DLC is set to be released this week in the form of two new maps, titled Liberation and Piazza. The schedule released by Activision includes a number of new maps, Spec Ops missions and game modes, all of which are set to be released between now and September. Elite subscribers can expect at least one new map per month, with new Spec Ops missions to be released every other month. The schedule is currently only applicable to premium Elite members who are playing on the Xbox 360, however, and Activision has not released any sort of schedule for the PS3 and PC.

Glad I didn't pay for Elite. This game doesn't seem like the developers put much time into it, so I can't expect much from the maps.
