Sony evidentally doesn't care about the low review scores being doled out to Lair. Apparently the views of the reviewing community don't count when it comes to assessing quality and whether a game deserves to be a success. Nope, all that matters to Sony are the fanatic consumers who are blinded by the hype and buy the game regardless. Great way to push the envelope, Sony. Nice move.

Reviewers can throw all the mediocre grades and scornful commentary they like at PlayStation 3 exlusive and critical flop Lair, because Sony still won’t give a toss. That’s according to SCEA PR boss Dave Karraker, who told Next-gen.biz that it’s the views of consumers that matter most.

Yes, yes let's just abandon a game that was made exclusively for the console at Factor 5's will and make them look ridiculous...are you kidding me???

"screw the damn reviews, we're still backing the game up." THAT is supposed to be their response, and I say, well *bleep*ing said. And by the way...the company's job IS to attend to all their "fanatic consumers" as you so blindly put it.

Well put seeker. Good for sony backing Lair. But why don't they put out a playable demo so that indeed the customers can judge for themselves...? hm...?

Hmm and I suppose if a hyped 360 game came out and was given bad reviews Microsoft would do differently? Bill Gates himself would probably come out the next day and announce yes the game is shitty and we warn everyone out there not to buy our game? I don't think so!

Besides Lair is a good game, not great but a good game
