The release rumours attached to Alone in the Dark 5 for the PS3 take yet another turn today with news that recent claims that it has been delayed behind the Xbox 360 and PC version are, in fact, false.

The apparent delay was the result of the title being accidentally left off the publisher's release list. It'll be arriving at exactly the same time as the 360 and PC versions. Rest easy.

The PS3 version of Alone in the Dark 5 didn't appear on the publisher's most recent release schedule, y'see. Apparently, though, the announcement this past Wednesday was all a bit of a misunderstanding, reports Eurogamer. The British gaming site states that Atari has told them the PS3 survival horror title should have appeared on the list all along but was somehow omitted. Silly Billies!
