SSX is being rebooted into the modern console genertion, and already with improvements like HD graphics and online multiplayer, so to must the negeatives. Like all other EA Sports games released since 2010, SSX will feature an online pass, but will not restrict online multiplayer.

So you might be asking yourself "what exactly does the pass restrict?"

OMFG really, EA? so now you cant unlock stuff in single player unless you redeem an online code? i dont even care about this game and i still think thats ridiculous. so how does multiplayer work then? does everyone have to buy a pass for that since it sounds like this "online pass" really has nothing to do with online.

if i wasnt such a fan of what Bioware and Visceral make, i would gladly boycott EA.

An online pass is just the common phrase, I guess you need an online connection to redeem the code, so the name still kinda works. Online multiplayer, which is usually restricted, is completely open, only single player content is locked.

But for people who don't have an online connection its worse, they would care about a normal online pass because they couldn't use it, now it blocks single player stuff they aren't able to unlock it as they can't redeem the code, even if they buy it new

That's completely retarded. Blocking stuff from the single-player?

Wow EA, that's a new low.
