Riot Games announced details on the latest patch earlier today, providing information on the changes they plan to make to current items, as well as a new item they're introducing to compliment the changes. From the article on their homepage, it appears they're trying to allow for more diverse early-game builds for Support and Tank roles. Some players in-game have already expressed concerns over giving Tank Champions an even stronger start, with Champions such as Volibear, and the recently released Sejuani, already dominating lanes at the beginning of matches.
