More details on the story, setting, and characters of The Last of Us have been dished out by Naughty Dog Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Game Director Bruce Straley.

Living within one of these zones is Joel, the game’s protagonist, who is in his late 40s and has experienced the downfall of human society straight from the get-go. Years of seeing friends and loved ones die in this brutal new world has hardened Joel and left him without many of the moral guidelines he once clung to in normal society.

    I'm pretty tired of the whole post-apocalyptic/zombie angle at this point, but I admit it's sounding interesting from what Druckmann and Straley said. And I have faith in Naughty Dog since I love the Uncharted series, so I'll be keeping my eye on this.

    this could very easily go like Dead Island, looks really good before hand but fails once its released. who knows at this point.
