Recent news told you that God of War: Chains of Olympus was not going to be arriving to the Playstation Portable until early 2008 but now they have given you a more in depth date on it. March 4th 2008 will be when it is arriving as long as you live in the US that is, as the European release date has not been stated yet and is still down as early 2008 as you would expect.

We told you God of War: Chains of Olympus wasn't coming until next year a couple of weeks ago but we've now learnt the actual release date.

March 4th 2008, then, is when you can expect the UMD of the promising title to be spinning in your PSP.

But only if you live in the US. Currently, the European date is still down as 'early 2008', which sounds encouragingly close to the American date but until we have something more specific then we'll obviously keep our Kratos costume in the closet.

In the meantime, however, the promised one-level demo UMD (for those US gamers that successfully signed up for it earlier in the year) has been confirmed as still coming this month.

Excitingly, there have been indications that a downloadable demo (whether the same as the UMD version or not has not been determined) is also coming, although there has been no official confirmation of this.

As ever, expect more news as soon as we hear anything.

Great, months and months away. I hope Syphon Filter is out soon. I'm running out of reasons to carry my PSP with me. I never got my demo either.

Your an idiot. This may not be great for people who wants to play it now, but its actually a great move that will benefit all GOW fans worldwide. They are making sure the game is close to perfection and the best GOW game to date. So im excited about this.

Why are you calling him an idiot? Just because he wants something to play now? Lame.

I plan on getting a PSP next year so this might be a game I could pick up along with FF7: Crisis Core.

Because he's acting like a child. Yes all the fans want it now but you gotta be pretty dumb to not realize the awesomeness of the move. The team is making sure its close to being perfect. Besides we didn't actually have a confirmed release date by Ready at Dawn anyway. They said sometime in November than it was changed(we only had Gamestop.com RD to go by) Now we have a confirmed one. Also he's saying he's running out of reasons to keep the PSP. The best things sorta comes later on like Crisis Core another game he should get.
Besides he should just play bioshock and Halo 3 and wait for the game.

          Also don't you mean plan.

finalblade, of all people on this earth, you, little boy, are just about the last individual who should be calling someone an idiot. Saying anyone other than yourself is acting like a child is beyond comical. All I said was, "Great, months away," and that sent you off on a rant. I also said not a word about not keeping my PSP, I actually said running out of reasons to carry it with me. Playing BioShock has nothing to do with playing PSP on the train. If that were the problem, then I will also be playing Mass Effect, Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, UT3, Haze, Splinter Cell, and LittleBigPlanet before God of War comes out. Hell I don't even touch my PSP when I'm in my condo. So tell me again, who is the one acting like a child?
