The Cheapest Playstation 2 Games Worth Your Time

It's been out for MANY years now, and even it's replacement has now launched. I am obviously talking about the Playstation 2. With the console being so old, and with such a huge range of games on the console, it's very easy to find amazing games at cheap prices. Well here's a quick guide to the games you should find most of which are less than $10 (visit the source for indepth details on games and where to buy them):

  1. Jak & Daxter, Jak II, Jak 3 (Around $6 Each)
  2. Ratchet & Clank, R&K Going Commando, R&K Up Your Arsenal (Around $7 Each)
  3. Virtua Fighter 4 (Around $6 Each)
  4. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (Around $6)
  5. Gran Turismo 3 & 4 (Around $7/$10 Respectively)
  6. Wipeout Fusion (Around $8)
  7. Devil May Cry 1 & 2 (Around $7/$8 Respectively)
  8. God Of War (Around $8)
  9. Twisted Metal: Black (Around $8)
  10. Soul Calibur 2 (Around $7)
  11. TimeSplitters (Around $5)
  12. Beyond Good & Evil (Around $9)
  13. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (Around $6)

    Those games are awesome but not DMC2 that game sucked hard don't get it.

      They should have put DMC3 on that list, DMC2 is the equivalent of me stabbing my eyes to death.

    I wanna try out Shadow Of The Colossus. It looks awesome but it also looks like it can be boring at times.

    DMC3 > DMC2. The first is awesome, too.

    Numbers 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, and 13 are all superb games. 10 is good, too, but it isn't the best version if you have other consoles.

    Why, oh why, did my PS2 have to stop working after a few years? I still have yet to play Jak II, R&C3, MGS3 and a few other games I couldn't buy and my friends don't own. The PS2 was *bleep*ing epic.

    Virtua Fighter 4 is the best fighting game after Tekken 5 IMO. But i dont see Tekken 5 here. Also where are the Budokais?

      Because Tekken 5 and the Budokai's weren't that great. That, or because they are more expensive....this list is for cheap games that were once the best of their time (or still are the best).

      I think SCIII was the best PS2 fighting game.

    This is really a golden age for the PS2. Despite it being "outdated", it's still considerable against the power of the next generation. Entertainment value faces no reduction, and we get great games like these for dirt cheap.

    Ok, then at about 5-6 years from now we will buying PS3 games that cheap, so don't buy a PS3 now .
