A Rant On Bosses: Final Fantasy & Shank

A response from a Sony Cheif told us that HOME will have 18+ areas. In these you can watch trailers for movies and games that are aimed for people that are 18+. These area's are mostly here to keep Sony out of trouble so they won't get attacked for showing adult content to minors. This is a good step to making sure that HOME will be a safe place for everyone.
Q: Will we see areas that you have to be 18 in order to enter?
PE: Yes, probably. In the short-term, there probably wonât be many but in the long-term, we expect to see them. For instance, a casino or even somewhere you can go and see 18-rated trailers for games. That isnât anything particularly sinister, but obviously, youâd have to prevent 12-year-olds going in there. Obviously, there are other 18-plus areas that you could imagine, but some of those might not come to fruition. But we have the ability to age-protect areas, and I think thatâs something that we will inevitably make use of.

It just seems to be for stuff like say GTA's more violent trailers and gameplay footage or trailers for movies with gorey, horrific and softcore themes.
Course, did we not enter our age into account details? I could be wrong (might not of, can't remember for sure)...One way or another, they have to find our age out...
*waits to hear about parents shrieking that their kid was seeing that stuff, even though it was the kid's fault for lying about their age*
A LOT of online media requires the user to be honest about their age:
Sites with porn, videos on Youtube, videos on Gametrailers, etc. They all ask for some sort of verification, be it an actual Birth Date, or just a confirmation that you are, in fact, 18+
Its really more about covering their asses (Saying: "Not our problem if they blatantly lie to us about their age"), than them caring about who views the vids...
Basically, and place that requires age confirmation, is just doing it so they won't be sued...if they made it more difficult (require some sort of ID), they'd lose genuine customers (such as moi), who don't have ID that confims age, or just can't be arsed...
That definitely suggests porn.
