UT3 PS3 exclusity confirmed 360 version has no date.

Well since UT3 has been listed as a timed exclusive some may have doubts on it. Well Epic's Mark Rein said no doubts and it will arrive long b4 360 gets their's. Since The PS3 version is the only one there currently working on at the moment. Unfortunately no release date has been mentioned for the 360 version.

Addressing forum comments which were reported on earlier, Rein said the point was "not to cast doubt on our plans but rather to debunk the countdown timer on a German fan site that listed a specific release date."

"We don't know the specific release date yet and I think it is always prudent to remind our fans that we value quality over release date. They've come to expect that from UT and we don't want them to think we're handling UT3 any differently."

    Was this actually worthy of a gamegrep article? It's been know for a long time that the 360 version trailing behind so they could make the best of the other platforms receiving the game.

      If you read it states there is no change and everything will come according to plans. Since a previous article states other wise. So yes its news.

        I'll say it again, it isn't anything new. Everyone who has payed attention has realized that UT3 for 360 has had almost no updates in a long time.

        Epic stated quite a while ago that the PS3 and PC came first and foremost in production. To add to it, it's a good thing that 360 is even getting it, since it originally was PS3/PC exclusive.

          Once again you don't read, Another article states That UT3 could be delayed for PC and PS3 but now this article states no it won't and everything is fine. Please before you start in with this isn't news read first. I made this article to counter the previous one, the 360 part was an extra that was stated on the thing.

    Though we now know it won't be like PS3 this year and 360 January next year, the 360 version is a long way off.

    There isn't any mention of a 360 release date or a PS3 date, so what is the news? He doesn't even say that the PS3 version is not delayed. He actually almost supports the previous report that a delay is possible.

    It doesn't take a genius to translate that to, "If a delay is necessary to released a top quality prooduct, then that is what will happen." When Rein said "nothing has changed," he was referring to the PS3 exclusivity.

        LMAO You rest what case? As always, everyone understands except for you. The line that you just quoted all by yourself says that they are working toward a November release. Does that not mean that a delay is possible? They don't even have a date set. Did you not read anything I said? Is it truly that hard to understand? Why do I even bother..

          Yes there was something that said it could be delayed don't you look in the past articles, wow why do i even bother.
          Also since my quote pretty much sums up my point I'll take it as you don't understand it.

    Severely delayed by the looks of things. Looks like the PS3 version is their primary focus and until they get to where the ywant to be with it, the 360 and PC versions will be waiting in the wings.
