Halo 3 To Be Painted on the No. 40 Car in NASCAR Race

Halo 3, easily one of the biggest titles coming out this spring will be painted on the No. 40 car at Dover International Speedway on Sept. 23, 2007. Chip Ganassi Racing has partnered with Microsoft and Target for this one time sponsorship.

On top of having the car and the sponsorship of the race, there will also be demo kiosks at the raceway that will allow race fans to try out Halo 3 two days before it launches.

    Why not just have a new race car with the number "117" or "1337" ?

      Because A) I doubt Nascar would allow David Reutimann to change his number for one race and B) l337 is one too many digits.
