Designer At Sony Says *bleep* Halo!

A IM conversation with Sony designer Adam Orth and Jaffe talking about Halo 3's most recent advert. Adam finds it insulting and this leads him to cursing within the conversation and unbelievably he wants his name printed on the site so everyone can see. I guess this should fire up some Halo fans as he doesn't just curse at Halo but also says other negative things about it. Check the full conversation at the source.

JAFFE: sweet- sadly it will rile up halo fans...hope they see that I DO LIKE HALO! I just don't get the religious fervor and feel much of the fervor has been purchased by Microsoft. But they'll still hate me

ADAM: *bleep* halo

JAFFE: well they don't have your name! You can say that! Anyway- ok, gotta go! See ya! And please, for the love of God: LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!!!!!

ADAM: actaully, i stand by what i said, you can print my name, just leave out "*bleep* halo"

JAFFE: shit really? Ok.

ADAM: ok, print it

    You know who else is saying F' Halo? The Crytek team; oh yea, Cysis demo on Halo 3 release day

    This might be bad publicity for Sony, though. It's not like this guy is a CEO he's only a designer. In other words he's expendable. If Microsoft was to go after Sony for one of their employees "slandering" their product Mr. Adam wont have a job anymore. Some people need to watch what they say.

      Its not bad publicity if anything its the brilliant approach. Sony should give two rats ass about halo 3, they never cared for it to begin with why care now. and trust me i have played halo so you can call me a little fan, but i think Sony needs to say we don't care about the game we care about our strategy.

      Maybe this will start a chain reaction.

      What he said was NOT an official word by Sony themselves. He did NOT make his statements on Sony's behalf. I don't even see why what I said deserved a thumbs down, either. Unless of course it's because I said a Sony employee should watch what he says because he could get in trouble for it. Which, would only get a thumbs down from a Sony fanboy/girl or someone ignorant enough not to properly grasp what I was saying

        That had nothing to do with me liking PS3, it had to do with bad publicity for sony. It was not, i never said it was, i said sony should give two rats ass about Halo 3. Maybe you didn't understand my post. All he said screw halo which i agree and i play halo, sony needs to be concern about there own stuff, hell halo 1 and 2 was suppose to be the PS2 killer and it wasn't, same with this. Even if the designer said this and not an Official word from them, my point was they need to listen and agree with the designer.

    Now for one he should not get the sack for his comments, after all he had the right to say what he likes about another product. But funny conversation never the less.

    *bleep* adam and people who dont like halo, i just went running around 200+ people screaming "Cyborg got leader. Run!" No one mocks halo, ill go get my Mjolnir Suit and my replica brute shot and i will hunt.you.down

    Anyone who believes that Sony honestly, keyword: honestly, doesn't care about Halo, is a damn fool/tool. That being said, why is this news?

      Ah haha no, actually they don't care about it, they didn't care about 1 and 2, why start now. Also anyone who thinks they should is a tool/fool. Like Seeker X said awhile back "if history taught us anything is Halo won't kill PS systems", "nor should they care about it", not exactly his words but close enough.

    Personally I don't why Sony care about Halo 3. Actually they should be looking forward to its release, after all when its out what is going to be Microsofts big IP now?

    I <3 Adam Orth finally someone with some level of professionalism says what they think, everyone is too scared to do that these days.
