It was long time in the making, and it has finally happened. Square Enix had previously announced that they would be creating games for all three consoles, yet no exclusive XBOX360 game had been announced.... till now. Yesterday, Square-Enix, in a bombshell announcement revealed details of an upcoming game for the XBOX 360 titled Infinite Undiscovery.

Could this be the saviour that Microsoft were hoping for that would help boost sales in Japan? Well it certainly wasn't Blue Dragon.

The support of a major publisher like Square Enix will likely help build buzz around the Xbox 360 in Japan. The console hasn't sold as well as the PlayStation 3 or the very successful Wii but has been doing much better in the marketplace than its predecessor, the original Xbox.

Imagine if that game turns out to be multi
I don't think its going to make the 360 sell i mean blue dragon was good and it did nothing. MS needs to forgot about japan they won't get any sales there.

That screenshot doesn't look like a Square Enix title?

Since this dosen't have the Final Fantasy logo I feel this will game will hyped as Microsoft's "big seller in Japan" but will fall off the radar just like Blue Dragon.

If the game's title was Final Fantasy: Infinite Undisovery then that would be a different matter

Wasn't Infinite Undiscovery originally Canceled some time ago?

I think I remember hearing the title...

But I could be confusing it with another game...

It's really lame that the 360 needs an RPG game from SE to get Japanese buyers interested in the console, whereas the PS3 doesn't even have any yet, but they're already swarming over it.
