A new rumour from Shane Bettenhausen in a 1UP Podcast claims that Sony will be releasing information at the Tokyo Games Show to confirm that the Sixaxis control for the Playstation 3 will be receiving Rumble. Shane also says that the PS3 Firmware Update for Version 2.0 will be released as well. A representative from Sony when talking to Spong says that they have no information on either matter at the current times.
More rumours are doing the rounds surrounding the inclusion of rumble in the Sixaxis. This time, the word is "confirmed".
The word from 1UP, that is. In the latest episode of the site's podcast, resident Sony fanboy Shane Bettenhausen claims that Tokyo Games Show will see the long-awaited rumbling DualShock 3 revealed.
He also claims that TGS will see the PS3 firmware update Version 2.0, which is expected to allow gamers access to the cross media bar (XMB) from inside a game revealed.
SPOnG spoke to a representative from Sony, who told us, "I have no comment at this time. We don't have any information."
Rumours surrounding rumble have been circulating for quite a while, with Japan's Dengeki PlayStation magazine having recently reported that Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, due out by the end of 2007, will be rumble compatible.
That rumble is coming seems inevitable. When it will be announced, however, seems to be very much up in the air. Rumour suggested that the ever-evasive announcement would come at Leipzig, while before that it was widely held that E3 would see an announcement.

On the other hand, I really really hope they do include the rumble feature on the sixaxis controllers though.
Firmware 2.0 release info? Does that mean they'll announce a date for it? Or will it actually come out at the end or during the TGS?
