TGS: Konami shows off Solid Snake in Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Konami has shown off Metal Gear Solid's Solid Snake in Super Smash Bros. Brawl during its Tokyo Game Show press conference. It is the first gamers have seen of the character and his cameo since a trailer from E3 2006.

A younger version of Snake is seen hovering down into battle before squaring off against Super Mario’s arch nemesis, one King Bowser, in what appears to be a bout taking place outside the Mushroom Kingdom’s royal residence. The earlier trailer saw the Metal Gear Solid star hiding in his trademark cardboard box, but whether it has been included in the main game is not yet known.

        How is that nerdy? It's Isle Delfino. We know that because that's the stage confirmed on the Smash Bros. website.

          Why are you offended? Anyway I just sayin' it's nerdy becuase it's an irrelevant detail but he corrected them anyway. Sorta like noticing a misspelling in a Klingon(Sp) name at a Star Trek convention and mentioning it.

      Oh yeah, I noticed that earlier but only just realised that that means it is really back, I guess I just saw it happening so much given that it was in both of the other two so much that I overlooked it.

    Wow nice. I'm really looking forward to playing as Snake. I doubt he'll be my most playable character, but I'd really like to test out his attacks and all that.
