Tabula Rasa Beta Hands-On Impressions

Aeropause.com received an invite from NCSoft to get into the closed and open beta for the game Tabula Rasa. Now with the NDA lifted, we can share our thoughts and pictures of the game.

Tabula Rasa literally means "blank slate" in Latin. For months before the beta, I was trying to figure out why that name would be chosen for a science fiction MMORPG. What made Richard Garriott pick that name several years ago. Well, after playing in the closed and open beta of the game, I have a clearer understanding of where the name came from and how well this MMORPG stacks up to the competition.

    Those are some pretty damn big high quality screens you have on aero.

    The review actually turned by off the game a bit. 30 hours to get to level 4? Missions are basically errand boy quests?

    It also sounds like all characters have the same abilities.

    It sounds to me like the reviewer is new to MMORGS.
    I look forward to seeing more indepth reviews of the game, I might even consider getting it if I dont get into the Warhammer Online Beta =)
