PSN to SEN: Time to rage quit? - DarkFeed

Once again, Jack Thompson continues his vow to block "violent" video games that he deems to be offensive to the public and corrupts children. What's the game this time? Halo 3. And it's only days away from release. He plans to convince a Florida court that Halo 3 is a "public nuisance" and to have it blocked from being released in Florida.
With the video game event of the year - the Halo 3 launch - just days away, game-hatin attorney Jack Thompson is apparently seeking to re-create one of his greatest non-triumphs.
Although he failed miserably with a similar bid against Rockstars Bully in 2006, Thompson hopes to have a Florida court declare Halo 3 a public nuisance. He promised as much late last year (see: Jack Thompson Vows More Public Nuisance Suits Against Games in 2007).
No surprise, really, that Halo 3 is in the media-hungry attorneys crosshairs. Thompson seems to prefer rattling his saber when high-profile game releases are involved. In his latest attention grab Thompson has released the text of what appears to be a court filing in the 11th Circuit, the same jurisdiction in which he failed embarrassingly during last years Bully case.
Once again, Thompson is basing his claim on a Florida statute which defines public nuisances as that which:
tend[s] to annoy the community, injure the health of the citizens in general, or corrupt the public morals

How on earth can anyone say if Halo 3 is a public nuisance if it hasn't even been released to the public yet?
It's interesting that the Halo series apparently "annoys the public" ... and yet still[i] manages to have huge sales [i]and warrant two sequels. Ha!
You would think that after all these years and video game releases that Jack Thompson would realize that nobody gives a shit about whatever he says and that it would be a happy day on Earth when he finally shuts the hell up.
He was something to laugh at the first couple of times, but now...he is just like that annoying kid who won't shut the hell up about how he is right, and everyone else is wrong...
*bleep*ing seriously, I'm guessing thats the kinda speech he'll be giving and honestly, with how many times he's tried something like this I wonder if he'll even get past the first five words. All I can say damn I'm glad to be far far away from that crack-pot...
Don't you want the youth of today to be prepared for the inevitable alien invasion that will come long after you die?
@ Raziel - I'm sure thats why he isn't dead yet...Well that, and most rational people (who are gamers), know he isn't worth it...
