Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

Another day gone and another game company boasts about itself leaving major details out! The X-Box 360 indeed well popular has sold 11.6 Million X-Box 360s but they leave out that this was over 2 years though! The Nintendo Wii has sold more than that and it has only been out for about 9 months! This proves that even though a company thinks there doing well in the gaming business, their actually not!
In the lead up to the launch of the much hyped Halo 3, Microsoft has proudly announced that it has sold more than 11.6 million Xbox 360 consoles in 37 countries.
What, of course, it hasn't said, is that it took almost two years to sell these units (the Xbox 360 was released in November 2005), and that according to some reports, cumulative sales of the Nintendo Wii (released November 2006) have already surpassed those of the Xbox 360.
Another thing that Microsoft is also not saying us is that in the all important Japanese market it has sold just 400,000 Xbox 360s, which contrasts to sales of 3.4 million Wiis.

Anyway kazooieman companies do not have to tell people how well other companies are doing. Nintendo seem to conveniently forget to mention that the the Wii is no longer outselling the PS3 by more than 2 to 1 but does anyone make a big deal over it? No, Microsoft have not lied or done anything wrong so stop attacking them
Also, just because Microsoft has taken longer to sell more does not mean that they're not doing well. With LIVE Subscriptions and the fact that they had the sense to take advantage of an early release shows they're doing fine.
