Although things have been quiet from Temco on the Fatal Frame front for a while now, news now surfaces that the developer is joining forces with Grasshopper Manufacturer (No More Heroes) to work on the next installment of the survival horror for the Nintendo Wii.

Grasshopper Manufacturer will start work on the latest instalment of Fatal Frame after it has finished up on No More Heroes, recently announced for a US release via Ubisoft.

The fact that the developer has plumped to continue working with the Nintendo Wii is promising, particularly if it means the console to rely on the software house’s continued support. Even more so since Fatal Frame 3’s producer Keisuke Kikuchi said, “I already have some ideas that I’d like to do if I had more development time and a more powerful system,” back in 2005.

Fatal Frame 2 was freaky, it would definitely freak out the kiddies. Course, the game would be targeted at Older Teens and Adults I'm sure...

Never did finish Fatal Frame 2 though -_-

This sounds insane, I mean clinically. Still, I am intrigued, I might check it out.

The Wii is usually thought of as being more PG and family orientated, but the Project Zero series really doesn't fit into that style. Interesting.

Hmm...makes me wonder if Silent Hill will go the same way...though SH is more towards the disturbing/gory scene (dunno about Fatal Frame). In any case, I can see the Wii playing the SH Arcade game.

It's strange that they'd move this series to Nintendo, considering the previous games were on Playstation and XBox.

To be honest, I'm a little disappointed that I won't be seeing ghosts and gorein full PS3 or 360 graphics. But I trust that the developers know what they're doing. I'm definitely looking forward to the next Fatal Frame game.

Oh, you gotta be kidding me.

Fatal Frame 1 for the PS2 has scarred me for life(Not as much as Clock Tower though).
