Poor Halo 3 players. Everyone under 17 at a Halo 2 tournament got ushered into an Air Force recruiter's office.

...But then again, it looks like this could be Gamestop's doing. They had a similar event set up for the Madden 2008 release and they were lucky enough to get two new recruits into America's armed forces. Way to show your patriotism, Gamestop, but don't you think flying American flags or another more subtle method would be more appreciated?

It appears that America’s Army isn’t the only link to the gamer generation being pursued by military recruiters.

The New Hampshire Union-Leader reports on a Halo 3 launch event in Manchester in which under-17’s were turned away from a local GameStop’s Halo 2 tournament, only to be ushered into a similar event set up by nearby Air Force recruiters:
