Mario and Sonic Olympic Games Revealed

Mario and Sonic are finally working together in the same game... But they're still competing against each other!

There are sixteen characters confirmed for this game that are playable: eight of which are from Mario games, and the second eight from Sonic's world. We'll have to wait and see who will reign victorious, but here's a list of the events that have been confirmed to be in the game so far.

Mario and Sonic will soon put their bitter 16-bit rivalry aside, sharing screen time in Sega and Nintendo's 'Bizarro World' collabo, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. With the release for the Wii just a couple of months away, Sega has released details concerning the game's 20 authentic Olympic events, as detailed below:

* Fencing - Individual epée
* Archery
* Shooting - Skeet
* Gymnastics - Trampoline
* Gymnastics - Vault
* Field - High Jump
* Field - Pole Vault
* Field - Long Jump
* Field - Triple Jump
* Field - Javelin Throw
* Field - Hammer Throw
* Rowing - Single Sculls
* Table Tennis - Singles
* Aquatics - 100m Freestyle
* Aquatics - 4x100m Freestyle
* Track - 110m and 400m Hurdles
* Track - 4x100m Relay
* Track -100m and 400m

  Lol, I thought exactly the same thing, I stared at it for the longest time wondering what the hell it was because it was in the slot of a Sonic character xDD.

the one between bowser and wario is vector the crocodile, part of knuckle's chaotix group.

this game will finally show the world know knuckles can kill anyone from any game series. kunckles vs boswer ftw.

It'll be interesting to watch a Yoshi vs. Sonic vs. Shadow race. Sonic and Shadow are incredibly fast in their own universe, but Yoshi's pretty fast in the Mario Kart games.

I'd replace Blaze with Rouge, I really hoped DK would be in it against Omega, at least Jr. isn't in it

Hm, not bad. I may get this game afterall. I originally didn't think much of this, as I thought it'd be similar to Mario Party, just mini-games, but I may actually get this.

I've been keeping my eye on this, it's a game I'll be sure to pick up.

Why? It has my favourite little blue buddy. Though I don't why he'd let Mario run faster than him!
